Nike x WNBA - First Canada Game

Erika was the featured illustrator who designed over 32 illustrations for the first WNBA game in Canadian history. The illustrations were part of a brand activation held at Footlocker by Nike Toronto, where customers customized their Nike apparel with her designs through heat press.

ABOUT THE DESIGNS: The intent of the illustrations were to celebrate the growth of the women’s game (through the 6 diverse women ballers), Canadian and Toronto heritage, and the growth of the Nike brand. It was also my ultimate honour to include a Nike swoosh with the Philippines sun to represent my own Filipino heritage.

NOTABLE ATHLETES: Canada Basketball team U-18 and Olympic athlete Alysha Newman personally came in to customize their Nike apparel.
