Rush Orders

Turnaround Time

Projects are scheduled to begin upon receipt of payment. Projects are closed upon completed production of the order/project. Please allow a MINIMUM of 14 days for custom/personalized orders. Turnaround time for larger orders, signage, or very complex designs will be estimated by on a case-by-case basis.

Rush orders incur an additional 50% charge. Expedited shipping rates may also apply.

Changes & Revisions for Custom Orders

Custom Calligraphy

Clients are responsible for submitting any personalized texts exactly as the Client wants it to be produced in calligraphy.

Depending on the agreement between INKSCRPT and the client, custom calligraphy projects and orders usually include a minimum of 1 revision round, which gives the opportunity for the client to request any changes to the project. Only during these revision rounds are clients able to request changes to the project without penalty.

If the Client wishes to make changes to the project outside of revision rounds, the Client must provide at least seven (7) days written notice (7 days before the agreed upon due date) to INKSCRPT, along with details of the changes/revisions to be made. If the number of days of written notice stated on the contract between INKSCRPT and the Client is different from this policy, the contract will always prevail.

If you provide notice after 7-day notice, additional fees, such as rush order fees, may apply.

Any changes or revisions to be made that are of no fault or error to INKSCRPT may be subject to additional non-refundable fees. For instance, if redos are required based on a new document submitted, they may be charged as additional items.

Any changes, revisions, or redos required because of errors on the part of INKSCRPT will be done immediately at no charge.

Custom Illustration

Deposits & Cancellations for Custom Orders

DEPOSITS: You will be charged a 50% non-refundable deposit when you book a custom order of over or equal to $200 before I start any work on the project. The deposit books your project's start date, and all text and surface materials (if applicable) must be received on or before that date. For all other custom orders under $200, the project will only begin upon full payment.

CANCELLATIONS: If you choose to cancel your custom order, your deposit made at the start of the job will not be refunded, even if the order is canceled before work begins. If the job is more than halfway done at the time of cancellation, additional fees may apply.

Requests to Replicate or Recreate Another Artist’s Work

For custom, personalized orders, while I encourage you to share examples of work for inspiration, I will not copy/recreate/reproduce/replicate/imitate another artist’s work or style. This is from both a legal and ethical standpoint. My artistic style is unique to myself and something I would love to share with you as the client - and I hope you’d want to share it with me too. I am able to, however, draw inspiration from the type of vision you are seeking for your custom project, but it will be done using my own artistic style (e.g. a wedding signage; place cards; etc). Should you wish for that specific style of another artist, I would highly recommend to reach out to that original artist for your request.

Submitting Texts - Custom Orders

Names, addresses, and other personalized texts must be submitted exactly as they would be produced in calligraphy.

Guest names and address lists must be typed, numbered, and submitted in an editable format. When submitting on Word or Google Docs, write addresses in stacked format with line breaks (just as they will appear on envelopes). When submitting a spreadsheet, each line of the address must be in its own column.

Any text submitted, including guest lists, will be assumed to be the finalized list. Proofread and finalize all text and names before submitting. If you need to request any changes or revisions to your submitted personalized text, please refer to our Changes and Revisions for Custom Orders policy.

Any revisions required because of typographical errors on the part of INKSCRPT will be done immediately at no charge to the client.

Emergency Closures: In the event of a pandemic or emergency

INKSCRPT is subject to closure at any time in the event of a natural disaster, sudden illness or death, pandemic or emergency.

Any orders and projects placed before closure will be honoured.

For any custom or personalized order that has not yet been completed during or before a pandemic or emergency, I will accept requests for refunds, exchanges, store credit or postponements. Refunds for parts of an order that has not yet been completed will be given upon request.

However, I cannot accept any changes or requests for refunds or exchanges to any order that has been already been completed in production and is ready for pick-up and/or delivery.

Example: if you ordered 100 place cards and only 80 has been completed, I will accept your refund request for only the 20 that has not yet been completed. But if all 100 has already been completed, I cannot accept any changes to the order (no refund or exchange).

Digital Templates and Downloads

For purchases (or free products) that are digital downloads (e.g. table number templates, colouring pages), you will receive a printable PDF that you can print and use immediately.

You will not receive a physical product. Templates that are available for immediate download are available in unflattened PDF format only.

File delivery: your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed.

Digital files are for personal use only and are protected by copyright. When purchasing digital downloads, you agree not to duplicate, distribute, sell or use these files for instruction. Thank you for supporting INKSCRPT.

Changes and Revisions to Digital Downloads

I will not edit, revise, or customize a template or instant download you have already purchased. Please ask any questions before purchasing and/or request a custom listing if necessary.

For PDFs, please use Adobe Reader to make edits.

Printing

It is your responsibility to check with your printer vendor for alignments, paper type, and other adjustments required for printing, to ensure that you get the best out of our products.

Please verify which format your print vendor requires. I am not responsible if the print vendor you choose does not support the file type you purchased and downloaded.

Local Pick-up and Drop-offs

If you live in Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area (Mississauga, Brampton, Milton, etc), or if you know me personally, then you have the option to request a pick-up or drop-off.

Local pick-ups/drop-offs are not available for templates and instant digital downloads. For these purchases, you are responsible for downloading the items and printing them yourself.

International Orders Policy

Please note international orders may be charged a tax or tariff upon entry to your country. We have no control over these charges and legally we must disclose the value of your item when we ship in the customs documentation. All items are marked as merchandise. Additionally, we have no control over international orders once they leave Canada. We recommend ordering very early to allow for transport and customs in your country. We require ninety (90) days to pass before we take action regarding a replacement item, and we do not offer any type of refund on international orders. No exceptions.
